Alexander has led consulting engagements focused on data strategy and optimization projects focused on operationalizing consumer data for over a decade, including at Fortune 100 companies. He has multiple patents and papers and has successfully taken a medical device company from concept to exit by acquisition in the MIS space. Alexander holds a PhD in physics from Harvard.

  • Alexander has worked on a number of Data Optimization projects within Fortune 500 companies
  • He was a Core Member of the development team of the BridgePoint Data Confidence Index (DCI), a framework and methodology for allowing complex organizations to quantitatively understand, assess, and address data challenges
  • Led data strategy and analytics at two technology firms, including enabling and tracking economic value of consumer data with over 3MM customers and identifying new pricing and cross-sell opportunities through the development of proprietary algorithms
  • Board experience with responsibility for data strategy at a set of prestigious private social clubs, modernizing member-based data collection strategies and identifying operational improvements to enable business owners to implement and track continuous progress in member acquisition and retention
  • Assembled and led research teams using Big Data across the globe (including at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and the University of Hong Kong) to derive insights of social network effects on leadership and cooperation
